Menu Highlights

  • Salads: The Ahi Tuna Salad stands out with its fresh field greens, grilled asparagus, and a delightful honey-soy vinaigrette—a perfect choice for seafood lovers. Alternatively, there's the classic Caesar Salad, crisp and satisfying, making it a staple on many tables.
  • Starters: Don't miss the New England Clam Chowder, typically served with oyster crackers, or the Lemony Brussels Sprouts, which have a refreshing pop of flavor for those who enjoy a savory twist.

One noteworthy experience is the Sunday brunch, where a buffet spreads across an array of delightful dishes. Expect everything from mini waffles to breakfast potatoes and an assortment of fresh fruits. However, be prepared for a hefty price tag, as customers note the brunch can run $59 per person, drinks included. While some may find this steep, the vibrant atmosphere, especially if you're celebrating a special occasion with friends, adds to the experience.

For those looking to unwind after a long day, Beacon Bar & Grill offers a fantastic Happy Hour, featuring a selection of food and drinks under $8 from 4 PM to 7 PM. It’s a popular time for locals, with the opportunity to enjoy their casual and engaging bartenders in a chic setting. The place is right next to the hotel so you don't need to go out on a rainy day. They are a little short handed but the food is good and nice service.

My review is based on Sunday brunch: Beacon is the perfect brunch spot if you want to celebrate a Birthday, have a large group and want to be seen! Located on the first floor of the Beacon Hotel. The brunch buffet is pretty typical with mini waffles, chicken , rice , a fruit station, a dessert station, breakfast potatoes, plantains, rice, bacon, grits, and eggs. I'm not drinking and They still charge $59 a person (including tax and gratify ) which is very expensive of you aren't even having mimosas !!!! They didn't tell me that upfront so I was kinda shocked. They offered orange juice and cranberry juice for the mimosas. I wish there was a Dj because it could really be a brunch /day party vibe ! They certainly have the space.

I specifically set out to try BB&G Happy Hour & made it here with 5 mins to spare. Part of a boutique style hotel, the retro style bar area offers a colorful bar & red leather booths. Tiffany, our Bartender was generous with her service & casual social engagement. Standard HH menu offering food & drinks under $8 seven days a week, 4P-7P. Nestled in the Dupont neighborhood with street parking that's free on the weekends after 6P. To note, the restaurant has a two story lounge with an open air patio. A couple of blocks from the Farragut North Metro Station - Red Line. I'll definitely make my way back here, especially to visit the Sky Bar.
